Why are the cuticles on my nails blue and not white?

I noticed it last night only my friend mentioned it today, I know some health problems can be told by your nails, I have not had any nail polish on so it's not stained it looks strange, any ideas thanks. Why are the cuticles on my nails blue and not white?
This sounds to me like Rayneuds disease, which is bad circulation,my sister has suffered with this for years and her nails are also blue, but in the hot summer they go bck pink.Go and see your gp they should refer you to a specialist up your nearest hospital.Good LuckWhy are the cuticles on my nails blue and not white?
to me it sounds like you have a circulation problem I would suggest seeing a Dr.
Possibly anaemia, but you must get it checked out by your doctor.
I agree with everybody,it is a sign of a circulation problem, when you press down on the nail %26amp; then release it does the nail go back to being pink under the nail? If yes, then you do have some blood flow,if not you need to see a Dr.
Your nails can and do tell you have a health problem. It sounds like blood/circulation, by the colour. Don't wait around get to the doctor and find out.
Go to your doctor.
