believe it or not you biting your nails is a subconcoius psyhcological act, i bet you dont even realize it until your already biting ;). i was the same way, what you have to do is to change your frame of mind, try meditating or concentrating...
Try painting them so you have a reason not to.
They have bad tasting nail polish. Try that.
have someone slap you when they catch you doing it, worked for my friend XD
put finger nail polish remover on them
put band aids on them it works
