Does it hurt to take acrylic nails off?

It looks painful to take them off, cause its like the people glue them on or something. Im planning to get acrylic nails in the near future, does it hurt to get them off? And how do you get them off?Does it hurt to take acrylic nails off?
no just soak them in hot water for a while and they come off fairly easilyDoes it hurt to take acrylic nails off?
Yes it is extremley hard I have had acrylic plenty of times and the first time that I ever got it I didn't fell like going back to the place to get them taken off so I cut them and that didnt work and it hurts soo bad and looks disgusting when you try to do it your self the best thing to do is leave it up to the professionals and let them take it off or buy some plastic nails and scrape it off it works and is less painful
Don't try and take them off with nail clippers or anything like that. If you rip the acrylic off you could tear your real nail in the nail bed. Soak the acrylic nails in acetone and as they get gooey you can start to use a finger nail file to get some of the acrylic to come off. Soak for about 30 minutes.
Well, It all depends on how long you have had them on and how high of a quality the nail salon's acrylic powder is. I've gone to places where my nails were coming off within a week some i had on for 2 months and they still were strong. So if you jsut got them done it's a good chance you're going to be in pain if you just try to use a nail clipper. I've ripped plenty of my real nails trying to take them off.

I've even tried nail polish remover and i sat there for an hour for just 3 fingers. So i suggest going to a nail salon where they have the high quality acetone.. but they might charge you. But i do warn you be extra careful cuz one wrong move and it'll hurt real bad.
uhh yea some times it does....i hardly ever get them done cuz i dont last long with them..ama very nervous person and i bit my nails...so when i have them on by the second day they already look beat up and nasty and by the 4th day half of them are already chewed up....not very girly i know.....but some of them are really stuck to your real nail and it can hurt like a b***h
my sister said it was super painful,

she just like ripeed them off,

there is probably another way to get them off,

my sister might have done it wrong,

you could go to the nail salon%26amp;ask them how you take it off.

havee a wonderful day. (:
heck yeah...they are really pretty when they are on. but even if a professional does it it hurts. make sure they don't get to close to ur cuticles with the drill brush that hurts really bad too.
umm. when i had mine it kinda hurt if you take them off yourself, but thats if you pull on them or dont use the right stuff to take them off.
it'll hurt a little, but the best thing to do is to soak them in finger nail polish remover.
it can if you do it wrong. soak them in acetone before you take hem off.
doesn't hurt if you do them right...

a lot of girls just pull them off, which you're not suppose to do.
if you pick at them yes. get some acetone from walmart to soak your hands in and they will come off easy
yes, they can rip ur real nails off.
it hurts if you try yourself. they soak them for like 30 minutes then they just fall off
