Does pre-pregnancy pills make your hair and nails grow faster?

I've heard that the pills that pregant women take make your hair and nails grow way faster.

Is it true, what are the pills called and where can I get them?Does pre-pregnancy pills make your hair and nails grow faster?
no - they do not. Do not take these as they can thicken your blood too much. You can get side effects from taking pre-natal vitamins when you don't need them. Too much iron can be toxic. It is hormone fluctuations that cause hair to thicken in pregnancy, not the vitamins. The hair doesn't shed with some women, after pregnancy a lot of women get excessive hair loss for a time. Some women experience hair loss, oily hair and skin during pregnancy. There is no proof that pre-natal vitamins help hair and nail growth and can be harmful especially for young kids/teens or people who don't need them.

Try rubbing pure almond oil into your nails, eating a balanced diet will help your hair and nails. Try taking a regular multi-vitamin. A low dose childrens chewable is probably adequate enough - Be careful, just because it's a vitamin doesn't mean it's harmless. Too much of some vitamins can be toxic and cause organ or nerve damage.Does pre-pregnancy pills make your hair and nails grow faster?
Pre-Natal Vitamins can help to thicken the hair %26amp; nails thus making them appear to grow faster, yet all its doing is giving your body the necessary vitamins %26amp; minerals for that to occur naturally.. You can buy them over the counter at almost any neighborhood pharmacy{i.e. rite-aid, cvs/sav-on, walgreens}
